Baron / Baroness
In bygone times, the title of baron was conferred upon those occupying important positions in their sovereign's realm. Today, being made a baron carries no less privilege and prestige as in years gone by. Barons and baronesses may be addressed as "Lord" or "Lady," or alternatively, "His/Her Lord/Ladyship."
|
Count / Countess
The title of count is a high-ranking honorific originally bestowed upon individuals who served the Roman Emperor in important capacities. It is the third-highest royal title conferred in Isermno. Counts and countesses may be addressed as "Lord" or "Lady," or alternatively, as "His/Her Grace."
